Holy Crap! You're right! Sheesh, to think back when this all started I was just finishing my Junior year of High School!!! My how things have changed! I think of all the $$ and time I've invested in this site over the years, and additionally all the time others have invested in this site....none more than Serge who's been the primary webmaster for years now! THANK YOU SO MUCH SERGE! I don't think I could ever repay you!

Anyhow...sheesh, this blows me away......such good times over the years, and good times to come I hope! smile.gif I've met some truly wonderful people!

-Eric

For some reason, the most vocal Christians among us never mention the Beatitudes. But, often with tears in their eyes, they demand that the Ten Commandments be posted in public buildings. And of course that’s Moses, not Jesus. I haven’t heard one of them demand that the Sermon on the Mount, the Beatitudes, be posted anywhere. "Blessed are the merciful" in a courtroom? "Blessed are the peacemakers" in the Pentagon? Give me a break!

Ten years of LS.com, and to think I've only been here for one tongue.gif I can only imagine what fun times you guys have had over the past decade. biggrin.gif

In the meantime, we need to get another music thang going. I must admit I liked that Radio Free Leelee tongue.gif

I still see your eyes where light hits the water
And I've never seen a colour so beautiful
I still hear your voice from across the horizon
And wasn't that you walking into the shadows?
In time I'll believe it was just an illusion
In time I'll believe it was only a dream
'Til then I will breathe you in from the ocean
And walk with the waves rolling under my feet...

So today is leeleesobieski.com Day! I've been wondering for a long time when it was. And May 1 at that, not exactly an ordinary day.

We gotta commemorate this on wikipedia. Question is, which page. This one?

http://en.wikipedia....Leelee_Sobieski

or this one?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_Day

Nah, let's go for the whole enchilada and put it on this one!

http://en.wikipedia....leesobieski.com

Congratulations to Eric and Serge and all the immortals before my time that made this the absolute best fansite ever.

Well, it's all in how you look at it, the domain name was first registered on May 31st 1998. But yes, the site started on like May 1st. Although, I think Avery's site was up before that...but the joint partnership was around May 1st....I think.

Serge, how'd you pick May 1st?

You told me something like this at 5th anniversary wink.gif So i pick this date as a month before site url creation or something like this. I did not included the exact date in my first post.

Makes sense to me! smile.gif I guess technically we go go by May 30th when the domain was bought, OR, by the day that Deep Impact was released, cause I saw it that Friday it came out and knew I was going to make this site....

In order to submit this to wikipedia, you have to have facts to base your claim on. I am not sure if yall have any info on the start of all of this, other than the registry info for the site.
I second THAT, now what are we talking about again?

Happy Brithday LS.com!

Well, in days like this, we Hungarians used to say something like: Let (it) live for 10x10 more years!)

Anyway, I1ve been offline for almost 2 years... sorry for that... but I'm back and thing teling me that nowadays are "not so glorious" days for the LS.com forums... so tell me if I can help, i really want to, you are all good people! smile.gif

Anyway,

ph34r.gif <---this is definitely Torak:)
