Leelee gave birth to a girl in New York City late Wednesday night, December 16, 2009.

Just got an email from Elizabeth Sobieski saying her name is LOUISANNA RAY KIMMEL


Congrats to them both, and the grandparents too, of course :-)
For some reason, the most vocal Christians among us never mention the Beatitudes. But, often with tears in their eyes, they demand that the Ten Commandments be posted in public buildings. And of course that’s Moses, not Jesus. I haven’t heard one of them demand that the Sermon on the Mount, the Beatitudes, be posted anywhere. "Blessed are the merciful" in a courtroom? "Blessed are the peacemakers" in the Pentagon? Give me a break!

Yea! It's a girl! Congratulations! Guessing everything went well. And don't worry, they grow out of that looks-like-an-alien stage pretty quick.

Great pick on the name. It's none of our business, but I wonder how the first name is pronounced...Could be Louise-anna; or Louie-anna; or Lewis-anna; or maybe even "Louisiana". Oooo, a mystery...

Just dropped in to wish all a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Joyous Festivus, what have you.

Also expected to get update on the expected little one-- December 16-- Louisanna Ray is a great name! Congratulations to LL and Adam. I know the birth of my son was one of the most wonderful events in my life, I am sure LRK will be a source of joy to her parents. I wonder if her mother has a tiny little set of armor to dress the babe in, lol, since Mom dons that type of outfit on occasion at work. Another Sagittarius. Can't have too many of those adventurous souls!
