That's right folks, I got a message from Leelee herself, and I think ALL of you will be please to read it. So without further ado, here it is (edited slightly for personal reasons/privacy reasons)

Subject: Howdy

Message:

Hey Eric

I just wanted to say thank you. The site looks great and i do look at it all the time... I actually check in once a month and read through quite a bit of whatever has just been posted. I really appreciate what you all have to say... and i know i wear black frequently...In answer to your question; my agents are at UTA and i have the same publicist as always. I just finished another year at Brown and had the most wonderful time in school, I read and painted a lot and made incredible friends. All the members of the board are so smart and funny. I am grateful for the support you all give me, sometimes when I am feeling a bit low I check in and even though it sounds silly the site can cheer me up. xxxxx ooooo

There is is folks......and I've replied including info on how she can post, so hopefully she'll be able to post herself in the future. If not, I can relay any info on from her, as always.

For some reason, the most vocal Christians among us never mention the Beatitudes. But, often with tears in their eyes, they demand that the Ten Commandments be posted in public buildings. And of course that’s Moses, not Jesus. I haven’t heard one of them demand that the Sermon on the Mount, the Beatitudes, be posted anywhere. "Blessed are the merciful" in a courtroom? "Blessed are the peacemakers" in the Pentagon? Give me a break!

Well I'll be a monkey's distant ginetic cousin... Leelee actually pays us a visit on occasion! Not to sound ungreatful or anything, I just didn't expect that we were part of her life to any degree. Granted, once a month (obviously a round figure) is a small part of ones life, but that almost puts us on the level of an extended family. I barely call up my sister or brother once a month... each. Maybe I should call them up more often... or maybe I should spend more time here instead. :D

Oh well. In any event, Eric, this thread should probably be stickied or whatever. Her message should also be added to that collection of her messages that were somewhere in the original web site... which would effectively make it Serge's responsability.

Later!

I must confess too that I found this quite suprising that she woud pay attention to this site pretty much at all.
Hopefully I have not offended you too much with my "black dresses ranting"
And I'm sorry beforehand that I will continue to do that in future too.... :D

Hopefully you had fun birthday...

I wonder if ir had any effect that I asked in my birthday message would it be possible her give little message for us. I also asked could she tell if she has shooted/is shooting projects too, shame she didn't mention anything about that. Not complaining..... that much...

Not that distant... I seem to recall reading that we actually share 97% or so of our DNA with chimpanzees.

But then, we also share 92% with cabbages.

Anyway, black is always good - it has style. Personally I favour my black three-piece suit, with a black trilby, black shirt, black gloves, black shades and ridiculously bright ties. (I've got a lovely fluffy neon orange fleece tie, it's great...)

I'm glad we were all wrong in assuming she had dropped out of college. I think it would have been fine if she did, but I think it's better that she didn't. (The parent in me speaking again.)
